Adults, Couples, Families
Helping people find emotional wellbeing, discover and enhance interpersonal relationships, develop rewarding career choices, achieve success in academic pursuits, are some aspects of my work with clients. Current practice provides easy access to therapy for coping with life’s many stressors.
Short term life challenges happen at any age. Time limited therapy can help people sort out and make decisions about difficult life events.
Couples and families face the shifting experiences of positive relationships and troubling patterns. Through guided discussions in therapy, together or individually, couples and families can learn how to strengthen their relationships as they understand and change the patterns that interfere with couple and family life.
Teens
Teens face unique challenges in these stressful times. Working with families, schools, referring providers and others is a central part of therapy with teens. At the same time, respecting their emerging independence is part of the therapy process. Helping teens cope with the many challenges they face, along with feeling better about themselves, their relationships, school performance, and family life are some goals of our work together.
Groups
Group and organizational consulting are important parts of my professional practice. More information is available in the About tab and in the list of Publications/Presentations.
